GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Boiler Treatment is a special blend of synthetic organic polymers, sulfite and phosphates.
PRINCIPAL USES
Boiler Treatment is designed to assure a high level of cleanliness in the boiler system, especially on the heat transfer surfaces. The product supports internal metal passivation in feedwater and boiler system.Boiler Treatment can be used at boiler systems with deaerators and with demineralized, RO-permeate make-up with a total hardness up to 5 ppm. Boiler Treatment is not volatile and is in compliance with FDA and USDA regulations. Boiler Treatment can be used at pressures up to 40 bars.
PRODUCT BENEFITS
DOSAGE
The specific dosage of Boiler Treatment varies depending on the feed water quality and pressure.
FEEDING
Boiler Treatment is applied neat or diluted with softened water, condensate (<35°C) or deaerated boiler feedwater via a stainless steel quill into the suction side of feedwater pump.
Boiler Treatment must be feed continuously; any interruption in feed will result in scale or deposit formation and possible tube failure. If feed water is used for steam attemperation, the product must be fed downstream of the attemperation water takeoff.
MATERIALS: Storage and application equipments (pumps, lines) should be made of stainless steel 304 and 316, PE, PVC or PTFE. Do not use aluminum, copper, brass, polyester or zinc in contact with the neat product.
HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING
As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equipments such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.
Boiler Treatment can be stored for at least 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.
Boiler Treatment is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.
APPLICATION METHOD AND QUANTITY
The dosage quantity of the product changes according to the operating conditions and water chemistry of the system. Boiler Treatment representative will propose the appropriate dosage quantity to ensure maximum conditioning performance based on the distributed system parameters.
